ABOUT OF PHILODENDRON XANADU
Philodendron Xanadu, or Winterbourn, grows fairly easily as long as you’re careful to provide the right lighting conditions and not keep it outside in temperatures below 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
The Philodendron “Xanadu”, sometimes referred to as Philodendron “Winterbourn”, is a large compact easy to grow plant. Each shiny, green, leathery leaf has 15-20 distinct lobes. A Xanadu is often wider than it is tall, reaching a height of 2-4ft. and a width of 3-5ft in ideal conditions. The leaves of this beautiful, exotic looking foliage plant can be as large as 16″-18″ long and 7″-14″ wide. Unlike many philodendrons, the Xanadu is an upright plant not a climber or vine. The best part is the older a Xanadu gets the better it looks.
Varieties of Philodendron Xanadu
The Xanadu is one of around 450 varieties of Philodendron. This exotic plant can grow to heights of up to 4 feet, and up to 5 feet in width. It features large leathery green leaves that span up to 18 inches by 14 inches. Unlike many other Philodendron varieties, this plant is not a climber and has more of an upright bushy habit. It grows to form a dense and compact shape, is easy to grow, and makes a good container plant as well as being suitable for growth as both a houseplant and an outdoor plant in mild climates
