This amazing Spathiphyllum Jet Junior Plant is named after a type of sea snail. It was named after a snail that likes to eat sea slugs. The scientists found out that this specific plant is very similar to the Sea slug. In fact, it is so much like it that they can breed a type of hybrid between the two. They were then able to create the Jet Junior Botanical Garden.

Spathiphyllum Jet Junior Plant is also known as Panicum heterophyllum and Thysanura. It grows up to one foot tall and produces purple flowers. They have a tubular shape with an ovule right in the middle of the flower that contains a single seed. There are around sixteen different species of this plant.
