Echeveria Mauna Loa is a huge palm, grown for hundreds of years in the tropical rainforests of Echeveria indigenous to the southwestern part of Venezuela. It has a long history in pre-colonial times as well as in present-day Venezuela as a valuable crop.

The Echeveria Mauna Loa is an evergreen shrub, which, according to Wikipedia, “is the second most common plant in the world with over five hundred thousand known species.” The shrub reaches a height of up to thirty feet and has delicate green leaves. It prefers a drier tropical climate but can be successfully planted in a variety of soil and conditions.
