Calathea Medallion Tissue Culture

The Calathea Medallion Plant is a small evergreen succulent that is native to South Africa. Its name refers to its leaf shape that resembles a bird’s beak. This plant grows in the shade and flowers only during the night hours. When this plant is picked, the leaves are edible and it tastes like a mixture between cabbage and garlic. Its name, in short, just describes it very well.
